We have settled into Robin Class really well and have been learning lots of new things! We have been busy exploring the classroom environment and learning how to access the resources independently.
In the "Doctor's" we have been busy seeing patients and listening to their symptoms and problems before treating them. There have been lots of bone breaks!
In Science we have been learning about our 5 senses and Y1 were challenged to sort the objects into sets about how they felt. This linked to our maths learning as we have been learning to sort objects in different ways. They agreed that some objects fitted into 2 or even 3 different sets so learnt how to overlap the sets.
Reception have been learning about and recognising the numbers 0-5 and Y1 have been learning about the numbers to 10. In the picture below they had to peg the socks in the right number order and guess which 1 was missing when a friend hid 1!
