- This week we have been ...»
This week's highlight has obviously been our river trip along the Nar; we all had a great day seeing the river grow from its source at Tittleshall all the way to its mouth into the river Great Ouse! Unfortunately time meant that we were unable to visit the fisher fleet, however, we all agreed that the day was fab regardless!
In our Maths we have been looking at how we can use multiple methods to solve different problems and then select the most effective method to answer a question to convince me their answer is correct. The children have looked at fractions, multilication and money problems.
English learning this week has been all about being responsible and independent learners with the children writing a draft, then editing and finally writing a final piece explanation text about the water cycle.
We also found time to reflect on and then share our favourite moments from our geography field trip along the river Nar.
Phew! A busy week ... but lots of fun!
