We have been very busy this week with ... tests! Well, amongst other things! We have been looking at multiplication 'families', with the year 3s focussing on X4 and X8, and the Year 4s X6 and X12. Everyone enjoyed looking at the patterns we could see and trying to trick each other with their times table quizzing.
As you can see, we still found time to be creative in our learning, including a trip down to the allotment on Friday morning for our Year 3 children and those not completing the cycling course. Whilst at the allotment we measured the perimeter, plotted out the growing space and looked at how our shadows lay to try to work out where the sun would move throughout the day.
We have also been continuing our science work looking at how materials change their state by making some wool eggs ... interesting to see how they turn out! I look forward to Monday and the balloon popping!
