Good Morning.
The 2nd Virtual Games Challenge is now on line. The information including the web link is on the main page of our Summer Term 1 folder.
Spellings today are below ,please write each one in a sentence.
Gryffindor/Ravenclaw: research, unearth, earth, heard
Slytherin/Hufflepuff: warm , warmth , towards , ward

Today's focus is on speech punctuation and inverted commas.
Inverted commas are placed around direct speech to show what a person is saying.
- Direct speech ( or what is being said )should be sandwiched between inverted commas
- There needs to be a comma, full stop, question or exclamation mark before the closing inverted comma.
- Capital letters should be used at the start of sentences.
- A new line should always be started for a new speaker.
